1) What this app does

Wi-Fi Analyzer & SIM Tools helps you analyze Wi-Fi and cellular signal on-device: see SSID/BSSID, signal strength (dBm/ASU), channels/bands (2.4/5/6 GHz*), nearby networks/security, IP details, live mobile network type (5G/LTE/HSPA/UMTS/EDGE) and roaming status, quick download test, and optional one-tap report export.
*6 GHz visibility depends on device/OS support.

We do not modify device firmware, bypass security, or unlock networks.


2) Data we collect

A) Information you provide

  • Email address (optional): if you contact support or choose to receive a report by email.

  • User-submitted IMEI (optional): only if you manually type it for your own record/report or support verification. We do not auto-read IMEI.

B) Collected automatically (App/Site)

  • App info & performance: crash logs and diagnostics (e.g., app version, OS version, device model class); basic usage events (app opens/screens) via Firebase.

  • Device or other IDs: Advertising ID (resettable) for ads/measurement via AdMob.

  • Website cookies (on easysimunlocker.com): essential cookies; optional analytics/marketing cookies controlled by a cookie banner (where required).

No automatic IMEI/serial/IMSI collection. Android restricts access to non-resettable device identifiers. The app uses user-entered IMEI only, and READ_PHONE_STATE is used strictly for SIM basics and live signal/network type (not to read phone number, IMEI, IMSI, or serial).


3) Why we use data (purposes & legal bases)

  • Provide core features (contract/legitimate interests): Wi-Fi scans, SIM basics, live signal, quick download check, and report export (local share).

  • Diagnostics & quality (legitimate interests/consent where required): improve stability, troubleshoot crashes, and enhance UX.

  • Ads & measurement (legitimate interests/consent): show ads in the free version using resettable identifiers; you can limit ad personalization in system settings.

  • Support & compliance (legal obligations/legitimate interests): respond to support, prevent abuse, and meet legal/audit requirements.

5) How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We disclose data only to processors acting on our instructions:

  • Ads/Measurement: Google AdMob (uses Advertising ID for ad serving/frequency/measurement).

  • Analytics/Crash: Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (diagnostics and basic usage events).

  • Payments: Google Play Billing for in-app purchases (we do not store full card data).

  • Email/Support/Hosting (if used) to respond to your requests and host our site.

Legal disclosures may occur if required by law or to protect rights/safety.


6) Data handling & retention

  • User-submitted IMEI: kept only as long as needed to generate your on-device report or support response, then deleted/minimized. If you export/share a report, the copy is under your control.

  • Emails to support: retained as needed to resolve your request and for legal/audit purposes.

  • Diagnostics/analytics (SDKs): typically ~13–24 months (aggregated where possible).

  • Invoices/records (if any): typically 7 years to meet legal/tax duties.
    We delete or anonymize data when no longer required for stated purposes or legal obligations.


7) Your choices & rights

  • Permissions: grant/deny at runtime; you can revoke any time in Android Settings.

  • Ads controls: reset/limit Advertising ID and turn off ad personalization in system settings.

  • Local data controls: clear app data or uninstall to remove locally stored content (e.g., cached report).

  • Data requests: email [email protected] to access/correct/delete support records or user-submitted info we control. We aim to complete verified deletions within 30 days, subject to legal retention.

  • Regional rights: Where applicable (GDPR/UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, India DPDP), you may have rights to access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection. Use the privacy email above.

Note on “account/data deletion”: The app does not create a hosted user account with us. Most content is on-device; for any server-side support records you’ve sent, we honor deletion requests as above.


8) Children & minors

The app is intended for users 14+. We do not knowingly process children’s data or show personalized ads to children. Where local law defines a “child” at a higher age (e.g., under 18 in India), we rely on the parent/guardian to provide consent where required.


9) International transfers

We and our processors may process data in countries outside your own (e.g., India/EU/US). Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).


10) Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including TLS encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege, and abuse prevention. No system is 100% secure—please report concerns to [email protected].


11) Changes to this Policy

We’ll update this Policy from time to time and post a new Effective date. For material changes, we may notify you in-app, on the site, or by email.
