We provide IMEI status lookups (e.g., blacklist/lock status, country/carrier info, device info). We do not modify firmware or bypass device security. Some unlock eligibility checks or order options may be offered, but the App itself is a checker and is not affiliated with any manufacturer or carrier named in the UI.
1) Scope
This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Mobile Imei Status Checker App (the “App”) and when you visit our Website (the “Site”). Together, the App and Site are the “Services”.
2) Data we collect
A. Information you provide

Contact & order details (if you place a paid check): name, email, country/region, order notes.

Device details you submit: IMEI/MEID/ESN (entered manually by you), device brand/model, current carrier/network; any screenshots/photos you attach for support.
B. Collected automatically (App/Site)

Diagnostics & performance data: crash logs, basic usage events (app opens/screens), device model class, OS version.

Advertising ID (Apps): resettable ID for ads/measurement (free, ad-supported version).

Cookies (Site): essential cookies for basic functions; optional analytics/marketing cookies controlled via our banner.
We do not automatically read your device’s IMEI or other non-resettable hardware IDs. If an IMEI is used, it’s the one you type in (or optionally scan—see Camera, §6). Android restricts access to non-resettable IDs; we comply with those rules.
Your Play listing currently declares: Contains ads / In-app purchases and Data safety = No data shared, app may collect Personal info, App info & performance, and Device or other IDs, Encrypted in transit, Data can’t be deleted.
3) How we use your data (purposes & legal bases)

Provide Services & fulfill checks (contract): run IMEI queries, deliver reports via in-app screen or email, send order confirmations.

Fraud & integrity (legitimate interests/legal obligations): prevent abuse, protect Service integrity.

Diagnostics & product improvement (legitimate interests/consent where required): crash/usage to improve reliability and UX.

Ads & measurement (free version) (legitimate interests/consent): show ads and measure performance with resettable IDs.

Compliance (legal obligations): tax/audit records, dispute handling, enforcing Terms.
4) Who processes your data
We do not sell personal information. We disclose data only to:

Processors/service providers acting on our instructions—e.g., IMEI data sources (carrier/GSMA-connected aggregators) to retrieve the status report you requested; hosting, email delivery, diagnostics, and ad-measurement providers.

Payments: Google Play Billing handles in-app purchases; if you buy on our Site, payments may be processed by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe/Razorpay/PayPal). We do not store full card data.

Legal/compliance: if required by law or to protect rights/safety.
IMEI lookups are sent only as needed to our IMEI data sources as processors to fulfill your request—not for their own purposes.
5) Retention

IMEI queries & report metadata: kept as necessary to provide your report, customer support, and chargeback/dispute defense; periodically minimized/anonymized where feasible.

Diagnostics/ads logs: typically ~13–24 months (aggregated where possible).

Invoices/records: typically 7 years for tax/audit/legal compliance.
We delete or anonymize data when no longer needed for the above purposes or legal obligations.
6) Permissions & platform-specific disclosures (App)

Network access: to submit your IMEI query and retrieve results.

Notifications (optional): to send order/report updates.

Camera (optional; barcode/QR scanning): only if you choose to scan the IMEI from a box/label. Images are processed on-device; we don’t store the frames.

No SMS/Call Log/Contacts access.

No automatic reading of IMEI/non-resettable hardware IDs (IMEI is user-submitted).
7) Your choices & rights

Ads choices: reset/limit Advertising ID and disable ad personalization in Android settings.

Support records: email [email protected] to request deletion of prior support communications; we’ll honor applicable laws.

Region-specific rights (GDPR/UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, India DPDP): you may have rights to access, correction, deletion, portability, or objection. Contact [email protected].
Note: The Play listing shows “Data can’t be deleted.” The App doesn’t maintain a persistent user account with us; most sensitive content is provided transiently to fetch your report. We will delete support emails/records we control (subject to legal retention), but we cannot delete records held by external carrier/GSMA databases that we do not control.
8) International transfers
We may process data outside your country (e.g., EU/US/India). Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).
9) Security
TLS encryption in transit; access controls and least-privilege; fraud/integrity checks. No system is 100% secure—report issues to [email protected].
10) Children
Not intended for children. We don’t knowingly process children’s data or deliver behavioral ads to children.
11) Changes to this Policy
We’ll post updates here with a new Effective date. Material changes may be notified in-app, on the Site, or by email.
